Khronos Group Releases Vulkan 1.2

Computational storage is about coupling compute and storage to run applications locally on the data, reduc ing the processing required on the remote server, and reduc ing data movement. To do that, a processor on the drive is dedicated to processing the data directly on th at drive, which allows the remote host processor to work on other tasks. The development of a computational approach in driver modelization is addressed. In the first part, a brief historical overview is presented of available driver models in ergonomics and psychological areas, and the distinction between predictive and explicative models in an implementation perspective is the focus. DriverPack Solution suggests you installing the drivers for your device for free, or downloading the software for automatic driver installation and update. Available for Windows XP, 7, 8, 8.1 and 10.

The Khronos Group announces the release of the Vulkan 1.2 specification for GPU acceleration. This release integrates 23 proven extensions into the core Vulkan API, bringing significant developer-requested access to new hardware functionality, improved application performance, and enhanced API usability. Multiple GPU vendors have certified conformant implementations, and significant open source tooling is expected during January 2020. Vulkan continues to evolve by listening to developer needs, shipping new functionality as extensions, and then consolidating extensions that receive positive developer feedback into a unified core API specification. Khronos and the Vulkan community will support Vulkan 1.2 in a wide range of open source compilers, tools, and debuggers by the end of January 2020. Driver release updates will be posted on the Vulkan Public Release Tracker.

Computational Storage. With the widespread adoption of high-speed storage and the increased performance requirement of data-intensive applications, traditional architectures have created CPU, memory, and storage bottlenecks. Driver Easy finds updates for drivers in Windows. Schedule a scan to check for outdated drivers and it'll prompt you to download an update. A scan can be scheduled daily, weekly, monthly, when your PC is idle, or even every time you log on to Windows. Driver Easy downloads drivers from inside the program without opening an external web browser.

Downloading Mauve

Mauve is free of charge, open-source software licensed under the GNU GPL.

The current version of Mauve is 2.4.0, released on December 21st 2014.The 2.x release series incorporates an accurate new alignment algorithm called progressiveMauve. For a more comprehensive list of changes and new features, see the Mauve version history.Unfortunately the 2.4.0 release has a buggy interaction with the boost C++ libraries that causes frequent crashes, therefore it is suggested that the development snapshots linked below be used until the next release. Mauve 2.4.0 can still be found in the release archive linked below.

We provide a Mauve User’s Guide containing detailed information on how to operate the Mauve software.

Support

After installing Mauve, we suggest subscribing to the mauve-announce and mauve-users mailing lists. The mauve-announce mailing list is a low-traffic list on which we make announcements about new software versions with bug fixes and new features. The mauve-users list is a general discussion forum for users of the Mauve software to communicate with each other and resolve usage issues.
