Utilities for GEN400/GEN500 readers and couplers

Polling

Polling is a Windows application to allow recognition and display of the information of contactless cards (memory or microprocessor on plastic cards, C.tickets and C.labels) and contact cards.

Monitor

Monitor is a Windows application to allow the firmware download in ASK readers and couplers.

ASKCDCCCID switcher for GEN500

This utility allows the switch between CDC and CCID USB modes on GEN5XX (RDR518, CPL508, UCM108, CPL108, CPL118, MTB108, CPL528, PLG548). CDC mode uses a virtual communication port driver, while CCID mode uses a PC/SC driver.

*** Warning *** : do not use this utility with GEN500 firmware versions from 1.08a to 1.13a, because CCID was not implemented. This would result in an unusable device.
*** Warning *** : to update GEN500 firmware using USB connectivity, the CDC mode must be used.

ASK GEN5XX Init

This utility allows the modification of the RF settings on RDR518-U. It overwrites the factory RF settings. Avoids communication issues, identified in rare circumstances with some models of cards.

ASK PCSCKB

ASK PCSCKB utility allows the reading of a contactless card serial number or information, as if it was entered on the keyboard. The format of the keyboard inputs is fully configurable.

ASK InitPCSCLoGO
