- I am unable to install the Keyspan driver on Mac OS X 10.13. There is a new feature in Mac OS X 10.13 that imposes a new level of security for the installation of 3rd party drivers. About half way through the Keyspan driver installation, the new OS puts up a prompt telling the user that they can't proceed until they provide explicit.

Downloading the drivers
Create a folder called “Temp” on your C drive
Download the file Drivers.zip from: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7UQv13fZ0UZNTVtSmVPYmE4TzQ/view?usp=sharing
Right click on the downloaded file and click “Extract all..”
Extract the folder into C:/Temp/Drivers
Installing the drivers
Connect the Power cord (you will see a red light in the scanning slot for few seconds after connecting the power)
Go to 'start' (Circle at bottom left corner of the screen)
Go to 'control panel' (if you are in 'category view' change to 'Classic view')
Click on 'System'
Click on 'device manager'
Look for a yellow exclamation mark or question mark by 'USB 2.0 Scanner' (it might be under 'imaging devices' or under 'other devices')
Right click on the USB2.0 Scanner and click on 'update driver'
Click on browse my computer for driver software
At “search for driver at this location” go to C:TempDrivers64bit
Click next and follow the wizard directions.
Calibrating
Go to “KeyScan imaging”
Click on “file”
Click on “Calibrate Scanner”
Follow on screen directions
